Hi, I’m Ritesh Ranjan — a self-taught web developer, freelancer, and the creator behind ProCoder09.

I’m based in Delhi, India, and like many developers, I didn’t start with expensive courses or a formal degree. I learned everything from scratch through YouTube, free resources, and — most importantly — by building real projects. That hands-on approach taught me more than any classroom could. It’s how I discovered the deep concepts: how websites actually work under the hood, how performance and SEO matter, how animations and loading behaviour affect user experience, and what it truly takes to ship a production-ready product.

My real turning point came when I landed my first client project. Suddenly I wasn’t just building for fun — I was building for businesses. That experience shaped everything. Since then, I’ve completed 15+ production-level projects as a freelancer, working with clients from India, the USA, Dubai, Egypt, and Singapore. I’ve also worked with two companies professionally. Every project taught me something the tutorials don’t cover.

Why I Started ProCoder09

The honest answer? It was my close friend Ankit Burman who pushed me to start the channel. I had been quietly building projects and collecting designs, and he saw something worth sharing. He was right.

My original goal was simple: if someone watches one of my videos, sees a design they like, and feels inspired to build it or learn from it — that’s enough. I never wanted to keep my creativity to myself. So I started sharing it with the YouTube community, and people connected with it.

That was back in November 2023. Today, ProCoder09 has grown to 29,000+ subscribers with over 200 videos — and I’m still learning, still building, and still trying to make things a little easier for the next developer who’s figuring it out the same way I did.

What Makes ProCoder09 Different

I’ve always looked at websites differently. When I visit a site, I’m not just using it — I’m studying it, imagining what I’d change, what I’d push further. That instinct for design runs through everything I create and teach. You won’t find copy-paste tutorials here. Every project I share has thought behind it: the layout, the interaction, the feel.

At ProCoder09, you’ll find tutorials on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Tailwind, Python, and more — all taught the way I wish someone had taught me. Practical, visual, and built around real understanding.
